The Department of Geography, Cluster University Srinagar, is committed to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and field-based learning. Located in the ecologically diverse Kashmir Himalaya, the Department offers M.A./M.Sc. Geography and Ph.D. in Geography, with emphasis on Climatology, Geomorphology, Glaciology, Hydrology, Environmental Geography, Disaster Management, and Regional Development. Strong focus is placed on Remote Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, spatial analysis, and geospatial modelling, fostering interdisciplinary research, critical thinking, and sustainable development.
