Dr. Irshad Ahmad Najar is an accomplished educator, researcher, and academician with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in Education and Psychology. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Kashmir, along with B.Ed/M.Ed. & M.A. in Psychology. His academic excellence is further reflected in his qualification of UGC NET/JRF and JKSET in both Psychology and Education. Alongside his faculty role as an Assistant Professor at Cluster University of Srinagar, he actively contributes to open and distance learning as an academic Resource Person for the Directorate of Distance Education, University of Kashmir and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). His scholarship centers on Educational Psychology, Teacher Education, Curriculum Studies, Guidance and Counselling, Inclusive Education, and Educational Policy. With numerous research publications, authored books, book chapters, conference presentations, invited lectures, and professional workshops to his credit, he demonstrates a sustained commitment to advancing educational thought and transforming learning through research, reflection, and innovative pedagogy.
